[Student project] Two interlocking L's, one a rainscreen system and one a screened-in porch, create an outdoor area for work and play. This system allows for outdoor views, natural ventilation and the potential for privacy. The sleeping porch keeps the fishers close to nature, bringing the outside in.
[Student project] This project was part of my thesis study in how objects make space. I used a character from D.H. Lawrence's "The Rocking Horse Winner" to generate the memory and meaning associated with objects and space. This box is designed to both contain these objects and generate a moment in time by instructing the placement of its contents. The box generates a three-dimensional depiction of a still life.
