Design and mock-up a hypothetical application for Target that further enhances the guests experience.
The first step was to identify a consumer need. In 2013 Target released 6 product lines available only on-line. Target is well known for it’s designer collaborations, which has fueled the desire for the Target brand. However, there is no central hub to highlight Target-only brands. My partner and I worked closely together to develop this concept, understand the Target shopper, the user interface of the existing app and develop wireframes and skins through several rounds of user testing.
“Only at Target” is an easy to use interface that works in conjunction with the existing Target app, using a shopper’s existing login so that lists may be shared and a new user interface does not have to be learned. It allows the user a second way to shop at Target, narrowing the choices of a search by Target Only brands and identifying an item’s in-store or on-line availability.
